Bernice Jackson

JACKSON, Bernice, age 75, a resident of Montgomery, AL, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, January 3, 2014 at. Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 10, 2014 at 12:00 pm at Westside Baptist Church, 2510 Westgate Street, Montgomery, AL, with Pastor Willie M. Graham officiating. Interment will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery, Montgomery, AL with E.G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home directing.

Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, Shelly Rudolph and Sylvesta Robinson; her husband, Charles Jackson; two sisters, Queenie Rudolph and Rubbie (Gerald) Wyche; a brother Charles Robinson; and beloved son, Deacon Mark Ellery Jackson. She leaves to cherish her precious memories four children, Lt Col. USAF (retired) Deatrix Marche (Andre) Morris, Newnan, GA; Deacon Michael Leonard (Brenda--a devoted daughter-in-law) Jackson; Myris Alen Jackson; and Bridgette Marnique (Travis) Faulk; one sister Faye (Henry) Robinson; and one brother Deacon Nathaniel (Katherine) Rudolph, Atlanta, GA; and sister-in-law, Ms. Mary Robinson; Eleven grandchildren, Petty Officer First Class Christopher (Chelsy) Jackson, USN, Camille Jackson, 1st Lt Andre Morris Jr., USAF, Mark Ellery Jackson Jr., Nikki Price, Cory Jackson, LaKisha (Tabarus)Arrington-Hall, Tara Arrington, Specialist LaShay Watkins, US Army, PaviElle (Henry) Tolliver, and Derrick Stovall; Eleven great-grandchildren and a host of other nieces, nephews, church members, and dear friends. Family hour will be Thursday, January 9, 2014 from 6:00-7:00 pm at E.G. Cummings Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. The body will lie-in-state at Westside Baptist Church one hour prior to service.
