Iris Lipscomb

Iris left this home to join her loving husband Forrest on February 20, 2014 surrounded by her family. She was born on November 29, 1926 in Autauga County to Mary Lois Davis and Thomas Lee White. She was married to Forrest Lee Lipscomb in Prattville on December 7, 1948. They lived all their married life on 3-L Ranch outside Prattville, AL.

Survivors include two daughters, Pat Joyner (Jim), Linda Williamson (Walt) and one son, Bill Lipscomb (Susan). Her grandchildren are Jase Maddox (Sonja), Lance Lipscomb (Amy), Shannon Howell (Lee), Simon Joyner (Sara), Duncan Joyner, Jesse Joyner, Autumn Joyner, Ken Williamson (Jerisha) and Spence Williamson (Becky). 24 great grandchildren. Numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Iris is survived by her loving brother-in-law Cary "Gator" Lipscomb and sisters-in-law Barbara Lipscomb and Madelyn Lipscomb.

Her family will be forever grateful for the loving care and support provided by the family of Fred and Freda Lawrence and Versie Goodson.

Services will be graveside at Prattville Memory Gardens at 1pm on Sunday February 23, 2014. Pall Bearers are Tom White, Dan Lavender, Scott Lawrence, Alan Lipscomb, Tim Lipscomb, Delton Lipscomb and Ben Lipscomb. Family requests no flowers. Please make donations to the .
