Mark Booth Obituary

Booth, Mark

Mark Richard Booth, born in Omaha Nebraska on May 30, 1961, was a resident of Montgomery, AL for the past 45 years. Mark was born to Richard Curtis Booth and Loretta Kaye Pruitt Booth. He went to be with our Lord on Thursday February 2, 2017, after a sudden and unknown heart complication.

Mark's greatest love was for Jesus Christ, and his passion was for everyone to know the love, forgiveness, and abundant life offered to them through a personal relationship with Christ. All who knew Mark were blessed by his integrity, kindness, laughter, and smile that would light up a room.

Mark was a true craftsman, dedicated to his profession of aircraft mechanics. He had the highest respect and appreciation for our US troops, law enforcement, and first responders, and considered it a privilege to serve 15 years alongside the Department of Defense, and most recently with the State Troopers.

Mark was a prayerful and devoted son, husband, father, and granddad, and will be greatly missed by his surviving wife Jennifer Sadie Booth, his daughters Kimberly Ann Ward (William), Cynthia Leigh McDaniel (Ben), Sharon Harmony Janney (Adam), Christal Brook Cochran, his grandchildren Will Ward and Kylie McDaniel, his extended Sadie, Booth, and Pruitte family, and his beloved co-workers and friends. Visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel on Saturday, February 4th. A celebration of Mark's life will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, February 5th at Leak Memory Chapel, graveside service following at Oakwood Cemetery.

We met as young boys in the early 70's,having a blast riding our dirt bikes on the trails around our neighborhood.Through our years in Jr. high and High School we maintained a solid friendship trading our dirt bikes in for cars. I was fortunate to have known your parents,(Wonderful people) Even losing your dad at a young age you turned out to be a very well respected , admired and responsible son, husband ,father and friend. Our loss is Heaven's gain. You will be missed my dear old friend.

If one word could describe Mark Booth it would be Awesome. He became a brother to some, a mentor to others and a friend to everyone. He loved God, His Family and Aviation. Mark & Jennifer complimented each other so well that when you see Mark, you see Jennifer and vice versa.
My husband and I were blessed to have worked with Mark at GEA on the Tuskegee Airmen Field. A place where everybody knew your name and we were always glad you stopped by to visit with us. Mark never met a stranger. His character is exactly as stated in the obituary. We thank God for allowing us to cross paths with Mark & Jennifer Booth in this life.
May God's Peace Be With The Booth Family.

As so many others have said, Mark was a wonderful man to all who knew him. He was devoted to the Lord, his family, his church, and the many from all walks of life to know him as a friend. Adrienne and I remember Mark and Jennifer coming together as a couple, and it was an honor to serve in their wedding day. Jennifer, you and your family are in our prayers. We are so blessed to have such wonderful, loving neighbors like you all. Mark was a true gem in every circumstance that he was involved in. We will truly miss his kind nature, sweet smile and big teddy bear wave that he always gave when he drove past us on the street. The simple things like that mean so much are a true testimony of the man that he was. Our street won't be the same without him but we know that we have an Angel looking out for us 24/7 which is comforting. Bless you all! ❤

Uncle Mark will be so missed! He was always someone at family gatherings I enjoyed catching up with, he always had a smile on and he loved his family. I'm not sure it will hit me that his life on earth has transferred to life in heaven until I don't see him at the next Sadie lunch, but I do know his spirit will always be there. I love you Aunt Jennifer and wish Gods blessings on you every day and especially now.

Jennifer and Family,
We have so many precious, wonderful memories of worshiping with you and Mark during the years you were at VF. Earlier this week, I was actually thinking about you and wondering how you both were doing. Never would I have thought about Mark being called home a few days later. Praying for you and your family during this time. What a comfort to know where he is, who he's with and claim our Lord's wonderful promises and meet Him fact to face.
Unspeakable joy for Mark, but he will be greatly missed by you and his family. Love, Jimmie Nell & Dennis Painter
