Greene, Betty Sue Clark, age 84, of Montgomery, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013, at Jackson Hospital. Visitation will be at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m, with graveside services following at 12:00 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be her nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be the Grace Sunday School class members from Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Rev. Francis Turner, minister at Whitfield United Methodist Church, will officiate. Mrs. Greene was born in Elba, AL. She was the daughter of Henry J and Minnie Lee Clark of Elba. Her husband, John L Greene, of over 50 years, preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Henry, Fred, Ed, Sara Nell, and Minnie Alice. Mrs. Greene retired from Durr-Fillaur Medical. She was a devoted member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, and Grace Sunday School class. Mrs. Greene was a member of the Delta Master Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi sorority for 48 years, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star 250. She was a dedicated volunteer at Baptist South Hospital for over 16 years. She is survived by her daughter, Betty Woodson (John), granddaughters Amy Stewart (Brian) and Alyson Oliver (Joey), great-grandchildren Camden, Collin, and Kylie. She is survived by a brother and sister-in-law Frank and Cupidene Clark of Enterprise, and sister-in-law Charlotte Clark, of Elba. She had many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Her family wishes to thank the Jackson Hospital staff, Dr. Stephen Kwan and his staff, the staff at John Knox Nursing Home, Dr. Winston Edwards and staff, Rehab First and Capital Hill staff, and Baptist Home staff.
