PRITCHETT, Jr., Mr. Dan (SFC Ret. US Army Veteran Combat Infantryman) 70, a resident of Wetumpka, Alabama, made his transition on Wednesday, February 20, 2013. He was a faithful follower of the Lord Jesus Christ. His last Duty Assignment was at the HHC, 197th Inf Bde, FORSCOM, FC where he was Separated at Fort Benning, GA. Serving his Country receiving numerous Medals, Badges, Citations and Commendations. Funeral Services will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 (11:00 a.m.) at Good Hope Missionary Baptist Church, 1388 Willow Springs RD, Wetumpka, Al, Israel Jones, Pastor. Interment: Good Hope Churchyard Cemetery with full Military Honors. WEBSTER-PROGRESSIVE FUNERAL HOME, directing. His body will repose at the church (10-11:00 a.m.). He was preceded in death by his parents; Dan Pritchett, Sr. and Buleam Youngblood Pritchett. Beloved husband of devoted and loving wife, Alberta Pritchett of Wetumpka, AL; Cherished father of Danette B. Battle, Plattsburg, NY (Qur Rahan); Dan Pritchett, III, and Kenneth Rodriquez (Loco Parentis) both of Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren, Quenette Battle, Qudsiyyah Battle, Qur Nissa Battle, Qur Rahu, II Battle, all of Plattsburg, NY and Dan Pritchett, IV of Montgomery, Al; one brother Albert Pritchett, Cleveland, OH. He is also survived by many other extended relatives and friends. Viewing at Webster-Progressive Chapel, on Sunday, February 24, 2013 (2-4 p.m.) There will be no procession to the church. Please assemble promptly at the church for funeral services.
