Glenn Steven Tompkins, Jr., 31, a resident of Atlanta, GA and formerly of Fitzpatrick, AL died on July 19, 2013. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. from Hopewell United Methodist Church, Shopton Community, with Pastor John E. Bush officiating and speaker Joseph B. Parkman. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery with Gray Funeral Home directing. Steven was a graduate of Macon East Montgomery Academy the Class of 2000.

Steven is survived by his wife of nine years, Ashley Renee' Tompkins; 2 daughters, Blayne Kelli Tompkins and Ashlyn Mari' Tompkins; Parents, Patti Johnston Holliday (Larry) and Glenn Steven (Leigh) Tompkins Sr.; siblings, James Chadwick Tompkins, Garrett Andress Holliday, Frances Wright Montague; grandparents, Marjorie Knapp Tompkins and James E. Johnston, Sr.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Gus A. Tompkins and Dorothy Fuller Johnston.

Pallbearers will be James Chadwick Tompkins, Garrett Andress Holliday, Bert Knapp Tompkins, Jr., Felix Vayner, John P. McDonough, Mathieu Gillet.

The family will receive friends at Gray Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2013.
