Hannah D. Thompson, 87, of Montgomery, AL, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013, at Baptist Medical Center South. Visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2013 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church of Montgomery, 2416 W. Cloverdale Park. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m., with burial following the service in Greenwood Cemetery. Hannah D. Thompson was born on June 1, 1925, in Leland, MS, the child of Aimee Fraley Feltus and William O. Aldridge, and the adopted daughter of William H. Hardie of Leland, MS. She was preceded in death by her son, CPT Barry (Sun Ok) Thompson. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband of 41 years, LTC (RET) Leslie S. Thompson of Montgomery; and her children: Sharon (Bill) Howerton, The Woodlands, TX; John (Kyongye) Donohue, Phenix City, AL; Leslie B. (Ingrid) Thompson, Del Ray Beach, FL; Maureen Donohue, Birmingham, AL; Margaret Donohue Orr, Sewanee, TN; Berkeley (Jim) Monroe, Birmingham, AL; Michael (Kerrin) Donohue, Enterprise, AL; Barbara (Elbert) Bell, Atlanta, GA; Thomas (Angelika) Donohue, Panama City Beach, FL; Donald (Jules) Blankenship, Carlinville, IL; as well as twenty-seven grandchildren and twenty-four great grandchildren. Hannah Thompson's life was characterized by commitment to her faith, devotion to her family, and charity toward all who met her.
