Abrams, Issac J., Jr. "Ike", 65, of Montgomery, AL, died Wednesday August 28th, 2013 at his home. He was born on January 15, 1948 to the late Issac J. Abrams, Sr., and Faye Gavins Abrams of Alexander City, AL. He graduated from Benjamin Russell High School in 1966 and graduated from University of Montevallo in 1971. He went on to become the Supervisor of Accounts Payable for the Department of Mental Health and Mental Retardation. Ike was a loving father, brother, and friend. He is survived by his daughter Kathryn Elizabeth Abrams of Birmingham, AL; his sister Patty Mask of Alexander City, AL; his niece Jessica Lynn Mask of Auburn, AL; wife for many years Jean Smith of Clanton, AL and special long time friends: Lock Hunter and wife Lisa of Lake Martin, AL; Mack and Molly Brooms of Mathews, AL; Anderson, Becky, Madison, Isabelle, and Grant Brooms of Montgomery, AL. A memorial will be held Tuesday, September 3, 2013 at 4:00pm at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home in Montgomery, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to NAMI Alabama and The ARC of Alabama.
