RETA SEAWRIGHT Obituary
Reta Coretta Seawright, age 63 native of Montgomery, AL ascended to her heavenly Father Wednesday December 19, 2012. Services will be held Friday December 28th at 11:00 AM from New Life Church of God In Christ - Annex 2, 5000 Patterson Road Senior Pastor Dr. Terry Ellison, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home, Inc., directing. She is preceded in death by her Parents, the late Willie Seawright & the late Rosezella Carter-Seawright; her Grandparents, the late Willie J. Seawright & Bessie Lee Jones-Seawright as well as the late James Isaac Carter, Sr. & the late Rosie Lee Carter; her aunts, the late Ruth Oliver Davis and the late Marie Seawright Williams. She leaves to cherish her memory her Loving Siblings: Mary Carter-Roberts (the late, Clarence) of Columbus, Ohio; Marie S. Herron; Coleman L. Seawright; Raymond C. Seawright; Arnetta S. Bradley; Chrysanthemum S. Williams (Courtney, Sr.) of Warner Robins, GA; Carla Rose Seawright; Stephanie Seawright-Boswell (Dea. Robert); Sherry Seawright-Williams (Rev. Larry); and Darryl Edward Seawright (Dr. Yolanda) all of Montgomery, AL. Three Caring Uncles: Arthur James Carter of Orlando, FL; James Isaac 'Ike' Carter, Jr. of Luverne and William 'Bill' Carter (Deborah) of Chicago, Illinois. Two very special God-children: Tiffanie Coretta Means and Little Master Grayson Tamerick York. A multitude of adoring nieces and nephews in addition to many great-nieces & great-nephews. She loved her many friends which includes the remaining 'Golden Girls'; Minister Aurbara P. Ramsey, Barbara Harvest and Renell Washington; her longtime devoted friends and co-workers; Claudia Colvin, Dr. Dee Parks, Carolyn Baker, Constance Bethune, Rob Taylor, Percy Blackman, Victoria DeJarnett, Loretta Jackson, Ella Judkins, Lula Larkins, Bettye Greene, Sheila DeVeridge, DeAnna Summer and others too numerous to name.
