SISLER, Myrtice Money, 94, long time resident of Montgomery, passed away on February 2, 2014. Born in Covington County, Alabama on August 27, 1919 to C.W. and Sennie Grimes Money, Myrt graduated from Straughn High School. In 1941 she married Orland Odell Sisler, a young cadet from Maxwell Air Force Base. They returned to Montgomery in 1963 after an exciting career in the Air Force that took them all over the world.

Myrt was active in community organizations; Capitol Heights United Methodist Church; Officer's Wives Clubs; Dixie African Violet Society, serving as Alabama State Director; Montgomery African Violet Society, becoming a Master Judge in 1997; Crump Center Bridge Clubs; a catering business, and was an avid Braves fan.
She was predeceased by husband of 61 years, Odell; 5 brothers; Marvin, Luie, J.B., Emmett, Cecil Money and sister, Merle Bishop Fuchs.
Survived by son Michael Sisler (Regina), daughter Pat May; granddaughters, Michelle Bohlen (Brian), Beth Hudson (Rob), Emily Sisler and great grandchildren, Mallory Hudson, Jack and Della Bohlen. Also survived by brother Howard Money (Juanita), and a number of cousins, nieces and nephews, a multitude of honorary nieces and nephews as well as "The Three Musketeers plus One" group.
Her Funeral Service will be Thursday, Feb. 6th at 2:00pm at Southern Memorial with visitation beginning at 12:00pm. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Macedonia United Methodist Church, 37097 Straughn School Rd (Co. RD 43) Dozier, AL or Capitol Heights United Methodist Church in Montgomery.
