DUNCAN- Rev. Charles Perry Duncan, 74, after one more kiss from the love of his life, Sylvia Evans Duncan, went peacefully to his Heavenly Home, being greeted by friends and family that he had shown the way. Charles was born in Crenshaw County but spent most of his life in Montgomery. He married Sylvia Evans, and they set the standard of what marriage should be for nearly 54 years; the Perfect Example of Love for his Friends, Family, and God. He served as pastor at Lebanon Baptist Church, Danielsville Baptist Church, and Wares Ferry Road Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, George & Bernice Duncan, his sister, Magdalene Duncan Ringh, and daddy's girl, Sherri Duncan Hall. Those waiting to join him are his wife, Sylvia Evans Duncan, his son, Don Duncan (Margie), his brother, Howard Duncan (Judy), his sister, Polly Tillery (Horace), his seven grandchildren, Mitch Duncan, Kristy Russell, Brett Russell, Jr., Kendall Duncan Miller (Dalton), Evan Hall, Alex Russell, Carly Hall, and his great grandson, Carson Mooney. We invite you to Celebrate his life on Monday, March, 31, 2014, at Leak Memory Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, and services will begin at 2:00 PM, concluding in Greenwood Cemetery.
