McQUEEN, Polly B., a longtime resident of Montgomery died on May 13, 2014. She was born in Greene County, Alabama on October 12, 1914. She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. E. T. Bellis, her husband former Alabama Attorney General William N. McQueen, brothers George & Richard Bellis and grandson John Thayer Voltz. She is survived by her daughter, Tuttie Voltz (Charles); son, William N. McQueen, Jr. (Ann); brother, Thayer Bellis; grandchildren, Charles Voltz, III (Kate), Carolyn Ecker (Mike), The Rev. William N. McQueen, III (Robyn), Charles M. McQueen (Carmen) and granddaughter-in-law, Kendra Voltz; Great grandchildren, Monica Voltz, Chapman & Blair Ecker, Mae Mae Voltz, William McQueen IV, Caroline McQueen, Jack McQueen and Sarah Kathryn McQueen.
Polly was a faithful member of St. John's Episcopal Church for 75 years.
Pallbearers will be John Seale, Jr., Richard Humphrey, Dr. Arthur Mazyck, Jimmy Walter, Jr., Fred Blackmon and Walter Turner.
Funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, May 16, 2014 at St. John's Episcopal Church with The Rev. Robert Wisnewski, Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church at 9:30 A.M.
