McLain, Donald Glenn of Prattville, passed away at home on Wednesday, July 16. Funeral services will be held at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 178 E. 4th Street, Prattville, on Tuesday, July 22, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Scott Arnold officiating. Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens.

Donald was born on August 28, 1930, in Anniston, Alabama, on Blue Mountain. He was a retired U.S. Air Force master sergeant and a member of the Retired Enlisted Association and Air Force Sergeants Association, as well as a master gardener. An active member of St. Mark's Church, he served on the vestry and was an usher. A devoted family man, he cherished his marriage of 53 years to Peggy, and was a proud and supportive father and grandfather, or "Pochee."

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Shelly and Mark Taylor; his grandchildren, Bronte and Ross Taylor; and numerous friends. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to St. Mark's Episcopal Church. www.prattvillememorial.com.
