Beasley, Melvin Eugene, 90, a residence of Montgomery, AL., died August 9, 2014 at his home. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Ray Beasley and Harol Beasley. He is survived by his wife, Helen C. Beasley, sister, Sybil Turner of Decatur, AL. and brother, Russell E. Beasley of Millbrook, Al. and 12 nieces and nephews. Melvin served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 12 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Brian Miller, Aldersgate Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery with Leak Memory directing. Special thanks to Caregivers, Cynthia Battle and friends Joyce Elder and Dot Young.
