Funeral services for Marjorie Louise Lowery, age 93, from Decatur, will be Monday, August 18, 2014 at 3:00 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service with Dr. Johnny Padalino, Dr. Ben Hayes and Rev. David W. Lowery officiating. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. at Ridout's Brown Service.

Marjorie L. Lowery who died Friday, August 15, 2014 was born August 8, 1921 in Morgan Co. to John L. and Josephine (Nelson) Davis.

She was preceded in death by her husband John Leldon Lowery, her parents, John L. and Josephine Davis and brother, Billie Davis (Mary). She is survived by her son, David W. Lowery (Joy); granddaughter, Melissa Padalino (Johnny); grandson, John Mark Lowery (Dara); four great-grandchildren, David Padalino, Michael Padalino, Cameron Lowery and Marissa Lowery and brother, John Charles Davis (Doris).

She was a member of Moulton Heights Baptist Church, Highland Avenue Baptist Church, Forest Park Baptist Church, Westmead Baptist Church, Fifth Ave. Baptist Church and South Side Baptist Church. She was the manager of the Alabama State Employees Credit Union.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Gideons or Southside Baptist Church.
