Colvert, Mr. James L., Jr., a former resident of Tuskegee, Inst., Al. died Friday, March 9, 2012. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 17, 2012 at 2P.M. from The Peoples Funeral Home Chapel with Evangelist Elvert Jegayde Colvert officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery with The Peoples Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be Friday, March 16, 2012 from 2P.M. until 6P.M. at The Peoples Funeral Home Chapel. Survivors include, one daughter, Gale A. (Colvert) Denis, Savannah, GA; two grandchildren, Shawn J. Denis, special care taker, Savannah, GA and Sherry Trautman, Passaic, NY; four great grandchildren, Joshon Trautman (Vanessa), Conyers, GA, Arthur Manuel, Passaic, NJ, Laraya and Markeya Manuel, Passaic, NJ; five great grandchildren; three god children, Thomas Williams, Tuskegee Inst., AL. Bifford Stephens, Tuskegee, AL., Elvert Jegayde Colvert, Tuskegee, AL.; one brother, John H. Colvert, Tuskegee, Inst., AL.; one aunt, Lillie Bell Ellington, Tuskegee, AL; four sisters-in-law, the beloved Millie Colvert, Tuskegee, AL., Alma Jean Braye, Tuskegee Inst., AL., Ruth Braye (Samuel), Alameda, CA., and Martha Braye, Columbia, SC; and a host nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
