Sweet Katie, my heart goes out to you and your family. As you know, I did not know your Granddad, but it sounds as if he had a wonderful and fulfilling life and after 63 years of marriage, I bet he is happy to be with his beloved Mary once again and in a place so grand! The real sadness lies in the hearts of those they leave behind and I understand the hearts sorrow. I do not know any words that will help your pain; however, I will keep you and your family in my prayers, as I know Our Father can comfort all.

I will always have fond memories of Mr Keene. He was a gifted story teller and always made me feel special when I was a young boy coming over to play on Alamo Drive with my best friend Jay.

With deepest sympathy,
