Mollie White Obituary
White, Mrs. Mollie Searight our mother entered into eternal rest on Thursday, July 18, 2013. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 25, 2013 at 9:30 AM from Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church - East Campus - with Rev. Walter E. Ellis, pastor and Rev. Henry M. Carnegie, Jr., presiding. Interment will follow in Forest Hills Memorial Park. Mollie White served as a faithful member of the Mt. Gillard Missionary Baptist Church for more than 57 years. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Willie Searight and Dan Searight and five sisters, Bertha Searight Murray, Jeanette Searight, Cora Searight Phillips, Jessie Searight Jones and Louise Searight Timmons. She leaves a legacy of unconditional love to the following survivors: Moses White, Sr., spouse; four sons and two daughters, Moses White, Jr., Joseph White, Jerome White, Norman White, Sr. (Rosetta), Earnestine White Howard (Timothy), all of Montgomery, AL and Shelley Storrs-Ruffin of Union City, GA; one stepson, Joseph Hardy, Sr.; nine grandchildren, Yakeesha Starks, Regina White, Norman Tony White, Jr., Samuel Brockman White, Joseph White, Jr., Kandria Storrs, Briana Storrs, Kimberleigh Howard and James Ruffin, Jr.; one brother, George Searight, Letohatchee, AL; three sisters, Katie Taylor (Deacon Donnie), of Ft. Deposit, AL, Jannie Boddy (James), Cleveland, OH and Ellen Walls, South Bend, IN; she also leaves a host of nieces and nephews.
