Williams, Mrs. Lula B., 89, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2013 in Montgomery, Alabama. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 20, 2013 at 1:00 PM from Bethany Seventh-day Adventist Church, Montgomery, Alabama. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery with Ross-Clayton Funeral Home directing. Mrs. Williams was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Joseph Williams and a daughter, Alice Pearl. Mrs. Williams leaves a lifetime of treasured memories to her children: Sylvester (Lillie) Williams; Lorine Savage, Patricia (Tommy) Brown; Marilyn Wright, Delores White; Joseph (Celeste) Williams, Jr.; and Cheryl (Gregory) Rivers. Grandchildren: Adrienna, Lytondalon, William, Cormon, Takashia, Quami; Andra, Tometricia, Karen, Kwanita, Hortensia, Chemeka, Marquita, Porsha, Cherne, Monisha, Pharrall, Joseph III, Aquarius and Freda; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; several devoted nieces and nephews; three sisters-in-law, Annie Matsey, Montgomery, AL; Lenora Croskery, Buffalo, New York; and Bertha Wimberly, Cleveland, Ohio; adopted daughter Earnestine (Charles) Thomas; spiritual daughters Lillie Hood and Martha Shipman, church family and friends; devoted neighbors Joseph (Hattie) Coprich, Daisy Rowell, Frances Baker; and lifelong friends, Roberta Powell and Missouri Milton.
