STITT, Phillip Richard "Phil", 54, of Prattville, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM Friday (tomorrow) at Ridout's Prattville Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life service at 11:00 AM in the funeral home chapel. A private burial will be held at Prattville Memorial Gardens. Phil attended Auburn University at Montgomery and was a member of the Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity. He loved Auburn football and was a dedicated Dallas Cowboys fan. He also enjoyed participating in sports activities such as cycling and bowling. He was preceded in death by his father, John McConville Stitt in 1994. He is survived by his son Phillip Jordan Stitt of Dothan; his mother, Christine Stitt of Prattville; a sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn and Phillip Meadows of Warner Robins, Georgia; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Tom and Michele Stitt of Atlanta, Georgia, Jim Stitt of Moss Point, Mississippi; an aunt; Ursula Henderson of Prattville; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
