Florence "Flossie" Etta (Edge) Anderson, 95, of Red Hill, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away at Saucon Valley Manor on Monday, October 7, 2013. Born in Alberta, Canada, Flossie came to the United States at the age of three. She was the loving wife of the late John Victor Anderson and the daughter of the late Charles Lincoln and Margaret Harvey (Boyd) Edge. Flossie worked as a waitress for Hackney's Seafood in Atlantic City for 20 years and for Fisher's in Philadelphia. She was also an active member of the Faith Baptist Church at Sellersville for the past nine years and former member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Philadelphia. Flossie is survived by her one sister Ella Mae Dillon of Red Hill; son-in-law Richard Kenneth Fahy of Hatfield; four grandchildren Richard (Cindy) Fahy of Green Lane, Donna (Vince) Snyder of Souderton, Debra (Donald) Bailey of Plymouth Meeting and Dana (Eric) Tielemans of Pennsburg; and five great grandchildren Sean, Erin, Morgan, Eric and Lacey. She was also predeceased by her daughter Beatrice Fahy and eight siblings. A visitation with the family will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 from 11AM to 1PM at Monaghan Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Red Hill, PA 18076 (next to Red Hill Ford). A service will begin at 12:30PM with Pastor Paul Auckland officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations are requested to Gathering Pointe Community Center, 430 South 9th Street, Perkasie, PA 18944.
