We were so very fortunate to have had Betty as our neighbor for 28 years. When we moved to Abington Woods in 1977, she was one of the very first to warmly greet us with her "southern hospitality"! Betty was there for us in times of celebration and in times of need, and so interested in the accomplishments of our children, as well as so many of the other local children.
She was extremely proud of her grandchildren, keeping us updated by showing us recent photos and sharing stories of their various accomplishments.
Additionally, Betty gave back to her community in many ways, especially through her service as a concerned and caring Abington Township Commissioner.
Betty will be sadly missed. Our love to Betsy and John, Bill and Diane, and their families.
