Borden, Helen N.* - Morrisville  
Helen Nicholas Borden of Morrisville Helen N. Borden passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home in Morrisville, PA on Friday, August 21, 2015. She was 95. Helen Emma Nicholas Borden was born in Stone Church, PA on May 13, 1920. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Lizzie Nicholas. A graduate of Bangor High School and Rider College, Class of 1939, Mrs. Borden was employed by John A. Roebling’s Sons Company where she met her future husband, William Borden. A resident of Morrisville for 60 years, Helen was a member of many organizations including Morrisville Senior Servicenter, Morrisville Presbyterian Church, Lower Makefield Garden Club, To Live Again, Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, and Historic Morrisville Society. She will be remembered for her 35 years of original craftwork which she displayed every Christmas at Historic Morrisville Society’s “Summerseat Remembers.” Helen is predeceased by her loving husband, William H. Borden, as well as her two brothers, and sister. She is survived by her two daughters, Barbara Borden Wood of Springfield, VA and Nancy Borden Anderson, and son-in-law, Roger P. Anderson of Newtown, PA; and one granddaughter, Melissa Lee Anderson, and husband Evan Schinell of Somerville, MA. She is also survived by nieces, Ellen Borden, Lo Ann Winkler, Roberta Bowen, Rebecca Ragle, and Jane Doyle. Private graveside services will be at the convenience of the family. A celebration of Helen’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Helen’s memory to Morrisville Presbyterian Church, 771 N. Pennsylvania Avenue, Morrisville, PA 19067 and Historic Morrisville Society, 130 Legion Street, Morrisville, PA 19067. Arrangements are under the direction of the Molden Funeral Chapel, Bristol, PA.

Cressman, Carol Ann* - Wilmington  
Carol Ann Cressman of Wilmington, DE Carol Ann “Caccy” Cressman, age 56 passed away Thursday, August 27, 2015. She was born in Lansdale, PA on September 4, 1958. “Caccy” served with the Lower Cape Fear Hospice as an administrative coordinator. She had a passion for cooking, decorating and hospitality and entertaining her family and friends. She enjoyed all sports and previously worked for the Memphis Redbirds and the New Orleans Saints before moving to Wilmington after Hurricane Katrina. “Caccy” is survived by her parents, Norman and Joanne Cressman of Magnolia Greens in Leland; two sisters, Bobbi Kuhn and spouse Roger, and Mary Moyer and spouse Bob all of Wilmington; and one brother, Tom Cressman and spouse Kathy of PA; as well as nieces, nephews and many friends and co-workers who loved her very much. A casual and colorful Celebration of Life memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 6 pm Saturday, September 5, 2015 at Wilmington Funeral Chapel. Light refreshments will be served during the gathering. Please wear casual and colorful clothing to remember “Caccy”. Fisher, Frances Wirt* - Gwynedd Valley  
Frances Wirt Fisher of Gwynedd Valley Frances Wirt Fisher, 77, widow of Daniel H. Fisher, Jr., of Gwynedd Valley, passed away on Monday, August 31, 2015 at Lansdale Hospital. Born in Sunbury, Northumberland County, PA, she was a daughter of the late Benjamin H. and Leona L. E. (Sholter) Wirt. Frances was a 1955 Graduate of Sunbury High School and a 1960 Graduate of Susquehanna University in Selinsgrove. She earned her B.S. and then her M.S. in Chemical Engineering at the University of Pennsylvania in 1965. She retired in 2009 as a Chemical Engineer from Gannett Fleming in Audubon, PA after working there for 22 years. She also had worked at Sun Oil Company in Philadelphia for many years. Frances was a member of the Sunbury United Church of Christ, AIChE, and the Independence Seaport Museum. Frances was an avid reader and enjoyed visiting museums and historic sites. Surviving is her daughter, Susan F., wife of James E. Yaroch Sr. of East Greenville; a sister, Connie, wife of Bill Bastian of Weikert, PA and two grandchildren, James E. Yaroch, Jr. and Heather L. Yaroch, both of East Greenville. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at the Mann-Slonaker Funeral Home, 222 Washington Street, East Greenville. Raymond F. Linder of Glenside Raymond F. Linder, on August 27, 2015, of Glenside, PA. Age 88. Beloved husband of the late Emilia (nee Donato). Dear brother of Vernon, Connie, Marilyn, and Virginia.
