Dear Marianne, I can't tell you how sorry I am about your Mom passing. Coming from Eckley was a great common bound we all shared. I met you at 6 years old and we have been friends for over 40 years ...Your mom and dad were the best.......I especially looked up to your Mom, coming from coal country........and she always reminded me of Jackie O.......She was so classy and sassy......made me love her more...She never took a back seat and always was in control......I used to think of Her as my mentor..........She would always talk to me when i called..(and she loved to talk) and I always loved talking to her..She would tell me stories of Eckley and somethings I cant say but she made me laugh.........She was a great inspiration to me.....The one thing she told me was...Marianne, when Im gone..........Think of me as a tree..........when you see a tree .......think of me. I will plant a tree...I will call it Anna of Eckley...I loved her and I love You...I Wish I could be there for You.. Please call me ...........Carribean sounds great........and i do know my way around the British Virgin Islands............lots of fun friends there...........Much Love and Thoughts at this Time.........All My Love and Thoughts and Prayers ..and anything else that will help you through this..........Mar.....Im so sorry I cant be there...........LOVE YOU.........MARIANNE
