Bertha Redmer

Bertha Redmer Bertha (Baker) Redmer, 84, of Dilworth, Minn., formerly of Ardsley, died Nov. 9, 2011, at her home. Born Sept. 30, 1927, in Ardsley, she was the wife of the late Clarence Redmer. She was the daughter of the late George and Bertha (DeParmentier) Baker. A lifelong resident of the Ardsley area, Mrs. Redmer attended the Bridge Community Church in Philadelphia. She was previously employed as a cafeteria worker in the Upper Dublin School District. She was a great wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Redmer is survived by two sons, Earl (Bonnie) Redmer of Roslyn and Dale (LaQuita) Redmer of North Dakota; three grandchildren, Corrie Beth, Cody and Ryan; and a brother, George Baker of Lansdale. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 18, in the John R. Freed Funeral Home, 124 N. Easton Road, Glenside. Friends and relatives may call from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park, Horsham. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Swaziland Relief, P.O. Box 29724, Elkins Park, PA 19027.
