Diane Marie Tacchino

Diane Marie Tacchino (nee Bellavance) died peacefully in Harleysville on January 28, 2013. Diane was born in Attleboro , Massachusetts on January 5, 1947, and grew up in nearby Attleboro Falls. Diane was a graduate of North Attleboro High School and the Tufts University Boston School of Occupational Therapy. Diane loved music and played French horn in both her high school and college bands. Diane was a skilled occupational therapist, much loved by her clients for her engaging smile and cheerful optimism. Recently, she was an enthusiastic member of the Skippiechicks Red Hat club. Diane is survived by her father Walter Bellavance, her brothers David, Russell and Mark, her longtime friend and sister-in-law Jean, her son Joseph and daughter-in-law Melissa, her nephew and nieces Ned , Joie and Angela, and her two beautiful grandchildren, Nathan and Mia. Diane's life will be celebrated in a memorial service to be held on Saturday, February 16 starting at 2:00 p.m. in the second floor north lounge at Arbour Square, 695 Main Street, Harleysville, PA. The family has asked that, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to The American Occupational Therapy Foundation, at aotf.org. Arrangements by Shaeff-Myers Funeral Home
