Francesco Cerminara

Francesco Cerminara Francesco Cerminara, 81, of Ambler, PA died on May 1, 2012 at his home surrounded by his family. He was the loving husband of Francesca (Penna) Cerminara. Francesco was born in Maida, Italy on December 14, 1930 to the late Giuseppe and Maria (Cuce) Cerminara. He worked in maintenance for Chemical Concentrate in Ft. Washington and AmChem. He was a member of St. Joseph Church in Ambler and the L.R.B. Sons of Italy Lodge in Ambler. He enjoyed playing cards, bocce and also was an excellent handyman. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. Family was everything to him and whenever he was needed, he was always there for them. Besides his wife, Francesco is survived by 6 children: Joseph (Cheryl), Francesco (Lisa), Domenic, Salvatore, Adelina Cerminara, Maria Folin (Agostino); 4 brothers: Antonio (Anna), Michelle (Maria), Gabriele, Angelo (Franca) Cerminara; 3 sisters: Maria Amantea, Rosetta Barresi (Franco), Ada Zaccone (Antonio); 6 grandchildren: Gina and Angela Folin, Alyssa, Daniela, Domenic Francesco, and Gianna Cerminara and many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to his Funeral Mass on Monday, May 7, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 16 S. Spring Garden St., Ambler. The Viewing will be on Sunday evening 6:30 - 9 PM and Monday 8:30-9:30 AM at Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Home, 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler. Entombment will be in George Washington Memorial Park, Plymouth Meeting.
