Lorry Heverly A travel journalist and resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 2:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 26, 2011, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center. She was 57 and a native of Perkaise, Pa. Memorial visitation at Resthaven Funeral Home, 11817 Jefferson Highway, Thursday, Sept. 29, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. She is survived by her husband, Mark W. Krohn; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Jerry Frank Sr. and Judith Ann Krohn; three sisters, Dwinell Heverly and life partner, Wally Schultz, Heidi Gerloff and husband Fred Gerloff II, and Natasha Hartzell and husband Jeff Hartzell; a brother, Luke Heverly and wife Mari; two sisters-in-law, Allison Kaye Krohn and April Ann Voigtmann and husband Fredrick Voigtmann; and two brothers-in-law, Paul G. Krohn and wife Mary, and Jerry F. Krohn Jr. She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Marilyn Heverly. She was a member and board member of the Society of American Travel Writers.
