Marion A. DeTuro(1926 - 2014)

Marion A. "Minnie" DeTuro, 88 of East Norriton, formerly of Ambler died on April 14, 2014 at Mercy Suburban Hospital. She was the wife of the late Francis J. DeTuro. She was born on March 3, 1926 to the late Vincenzo and Marietta (Foderaro) Pileggi. She worked for Genuardi Supermarkets for many years. Minnie was a resident of Brandywine Senior Suites of East Norriton for the past 5 years. Minnie enjoyed going to the casino, playing bingo and cards with the residents and family. She loved spending time with her family. Minnie is survived by her daughter Catherine Quinn (Edward) and her son Francis P. DeTuro (Loretta), her 5 grandchildren Tamara Callahan (Eric), Edward Quinn (Kelly), Francis DeTuro (Catherine), Michael DeTuro (Jessica), Anthony DeTuro, her 7 Great-Grandchildren Sophia, Shane Callahan, Hailey, Isabella, Adriana, Thomas DeTuro, Edward Quinn III. She was pre-deceased by her brothers Pat and Pete Pileggi, her sisters Mary Marinocla, Virginia Chilberti, Pat Roberto, Theresa Ruth, Angie Zangrone, Frances Wright, Rachel Casalenuovo, and her great-granddaughter Larehn Marianna Quinn. Relatives and friends are invited to her Funeral Mass, Tues. April 22, 2014 at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, 16 S. Spring Garden St. Ambler, PA. Viewing Mon. eve. 6:30-9 PM and Tues. 8:30-9:30 AM at Emil J. Ciavarelli Family Funeral Homes 951 E. Butler Pike, Ambler, PA. Interment in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
