Noah Ryan Huss

Noah Ryan Huss, born June 23, 1977 Noah Huss, 34, of Lititz, PA, formerly of Jarrettsville, passed away on the morning of March 6th, 2012, as the result of a car accident. While those of us privileged to know Noah feel crippled by this sudden loss, our lives have been undeniably enriched by his conviction, compassion, creativity, and humor. His care for others, unassuming intelligence, depth of character, gentleness, and ability to bring laughter into any situation, made him a wonderful father; husband, brother, son and friend. Noah laid down his life for those he loved, always. He lived passionately and loved generously. Those he left cannot understand why he was taken from us so suddenly, but as Noah himself wrote just last week in a theological conversation, "Really, these things are just too difficult to understand; and I'm comfortable understanding that God is good - always - even if I don't get it - which is often". Noah is survived by his wife Rachel and his boys, Nathan William Geoffrey 15, Levi Novi 8, Simon Eliot 3 months of Lititz, PA., his mother Dodi Gregory Huss of Jarrettsville; father John Theodore Huss and wife, Pamela of Rising Sun; brother Jacob David Huss, and sister Sarah Grace Bethke and husband Michael. He is also survived by his in-laws Anna and Willem Roth and family from Toronto, Canada, and many beloved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and brother Aaron B. Huss. Noah held a Bachelors degree from Grove City College and a Masters of Divinity from Westminster Theological Seminary in PA Family and friends will honor Noah's life at the family owned Evans Funeral Chapel & Cremation Services - Bel Air, 3 Newport Dr. (Rts. 23 & 24 - Forest Hill) on Sunday from 3-5 & 7-9 PM where a funeral service will be held Monday at 11 AM.
