Priscilla E. Rambo

Priscilla E. Rambo Priscilla E. (Spangler) Rambo of North Hills, Abington, died June 16, 2012, at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 69. Born May 13, 1943, in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Frederick and Marie (Eben) Spangler. She was the wife for 44 years of William Rambo Jr. An area resident since 1954, she was a graduate of Cheltenham High School, Class of 1961, and attended Lock Haven University. She was a member of Jarrettown United Methodist Church since 1999, where she was involved with the Inter Fair Hospitality Program and a member of the Staff-Parish Relations Committee. A homemaker, Mrs. Rambo loved gardening and floral design. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister and a great friend to many, always ready to lend a hand wherever needed. In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Karen Donofrio (Michael) of Ambler; a son, Rich Rambo (Annette) of Glenside; grandchildren Lauren, Nicholas, Richard and Matthew; a brother, Peter E. Spangler (Judith V.) of Greenburg, Pa.; and a sister, Marjorie Malloy (Joseph) of Warminster. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Lindsay Rose. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 22, at noon at Jarrettown Methodist Church, 1460 Limekiln Pike, Dresher, PA 19025. Friends and relatives may call at the church Friday from 10 a.m. to noon. Interment is private. Memorial contributions in her name may be made to Jarrettown U.M.C. at the above address.
