Richard N. Feldkamp

Richard N. Feldkamp, 64, of Telford, died Saturday, November 12, 2011 at his residence. He was the husband of Janice (Cowles) Feldkamp, his wife of 44 years. Born January 30, 1947 in Appleton, WI, he was a son of the late Leo & Lucille (Walter) Feldkamp. He was born a second time into an eternal life when he accepted Jesus Christ as his Saviour and Lord in his 30's, and he entered into that eternal life on Saturday. Dick grew up on a Dairy farm in Wisconsin and attended Stout State University in Menomonie, WI graduating with a degree in Industrial Education. While there he met the love of his life, Janice. They have four children: Jeffrey, who has been enjoying his eternal home in heaven since 1996, Thomas (Emily), who lives in Rancho Cucamonga, CA, Edward (Amy) who lives in Chesterfield, VA , and Rebecca Klavon (Rich) who lives in Greensburg, PA. They also have three grandsons, Luke & Ethan Feldkamp, Nickolas Klavon and one step-grandson, Bailey Cole. Dick taught Industrial Arts in Illinois for 4 years, was an Industrial Engineer for Oscar Mayer in Madison, WI, and then was Manager of Industrial Engineering for Hatfield Quality Meats for 26 years. He had many interests and hobbies including traveling, photography, history, cars, and reading. But, the biggest passion of his life was serving the Navajo at a small Christian school in New Mexico where he taught Physics, tutored Math and ministered in other ways for the past several years. He had a real heart for Missions and served as head of Missions at Grace Bible Church in Souderton, PA for several years. Dick endured much pain and suffering for many years, but he was a grand testimony to many of God's faithfulness and blessed many lives in the process. We are grateful that he can now relax and hear the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant." In addition to his wife, children and grandchildren he is survived by his brother, Donald (Bev) Feldkamp, his sister, Delores (Merl) Vanderheiden, his twin brother, Robert (MaryJo) Feldkamp, brother-in-law, Gary (Debbie) Cowles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends whom he considered to be his family. There will be a service of celebration of Dick's life and God's faithfulness on Saturday, November 19, 2011 at First Baptist Church, 1600 North Fifth St., Perkasie, PA with visitation from 9:30 - 11 AM before the service and a time of visitation and lunch after the service. Dick will be buried at Evergreen Cemetery in Menomonie, WI on Saturday, December 10, 2011 with a service that day. Arrangements by Huff & Lakjer, Lansdale. Memorial gifts can be given to the ministry in New Mexico where Dick's heart was and he served at for several years. Checks may be made payable to James Maiorano, PO Box 5415, Window Rock, AZ 86515.
