Roy M. Allebach

Pastor Roy M. Allebach 92, of Altamonte, FL, formerly of Blooming Glen, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 28, 2012 in Grand Villa of Altamonte Springs, FL. He was the beloved husband of 67 years to the late Verna L. (Freed) Allebach who died in 2008. Born in Hilltown Twp., he was a son of the late Irvin F. and Edna (Myers) Allebach. He was employed as a farm manager and herdsman in Norristown for many years prior to becoming a minister. Pastor Allebach was the founding pastor and former member of Pennridge Full Gospel Tabernacle, Blooming Glen, and served there for 28 years. He also served for 15 years as the past president of the Gospel Crusade Ministerial Fellowship, Bradenton, FL. In his earlier years he was a member of Line Lexington Mennonite Church. In his free time, he enjoyed gardening, farming and growing fruit trees. He is survived by two sons: Philip F. Allebach and his wife Susan of Perkasie, Roy F. Allebach and his wife Linda of Ephrata, PA, a daughter, Esther Mae DeGeus and her husband Duane of Longwood, FL, ten grandchildren, ten great grandchildren, two brothers: Clyde M. Allebach and his wife Verna of Menahga, MN, Harold M. Allebach and his wife Mary of Telford, a sister, Arlene Delp of Souderton, a half brother, Ralph E. Allebach and his wife Karen of Sellersville. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a son, Glenn F. Allebach. Funeral Services were held on Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at 11:00 AM in the Pennridge Christian Fellowship, formerly the Pennridge Full Gospel Tabernacle, 720 Blooming Glen Rd., P O Box 361, Blooming Glen, PA 18911. Interment followed in the Franconia Mennonite Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Missions Department of Pennridge Christian Fellowship at the above address.
