Anna M. Trauger

Anna M. Trauger 92, of Telford, passed away on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 in the skilled nursing unit of the Rockhill Mennonite Community, West Rockhill Twp. She was the wife of the late Russell Trauger who died in 1988, and the late Garland Kinsey who died in 1959. Born in Perkasie, she was a daughter of the late Lester and Anna (Moyer) Bishop. She was employed as a clerk and administrative assistant with Harleysville Insurance for 30 years prior to her retirement in 1987. In her earlier years she was employed at Sackman Brothers Clothing Factory. Mrs. Trauger was a longtime member of Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, Telford. In her free time she enjoyed babysitting her great nieces and nephews, counted cross stitching, sewing, knitting and making afghans. She is survived by two stepdaughters: Winifred Frederick and her husband Larry of Perkasie, Nedra Trauger of Florida, three grandchildren: Michele Walters and her husband Ed of Quakertown, Dave Frederick and his wife Beth of Spring Mount, Bruce Frederick and his wife Brenda of Telford, three great grandchildren, two brothers: Lester Bishop and his wife Snookie of Telford, Earl Bishop and his wife Anna of Sellersville, and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by long-time companion, Walter Swartz, a stepson, Russell Trauger, Jr., two sisters: Edna Feuchtmayer and Lela Wolf, and a brother, Kenneth Bishop. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 11 AM in the Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek, 171 Church Rd., Telford, PA 18969. Interment will follow in the adjoining church cemetery. Family will receive friends from 10-11 AM prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Christ Reformed Church at Indian Creek at the above address.
