Having been brought into the Chestnut Hill Emergency Department many years ago, having been in an extremely serious accident, DR May, rather than performing surgery to remove an organ immediately, had said (to the effect): "let's leave it in and see if it heals itself." This dear man, having been more concerned with the long-term effects to my life, gave no consideration for his "financial bottom line" (to have been compensated for another surgery); and through his goodness, which is so hard to find today, [DR May] gave me a chance at life with all of my "vital components." Having been "cutting grass" at the country club where he had been golfing one day, I had the honor of having met him, and to have thanked him; and I had just wanted for his family to read one more wonderful thing about this wonderful man.

Dear Cheryl and Family,
A blast from your Wyndmoor past here! But, sending you my sincere condolences at this difficult time. I will be out of town during your Dad's services...However, you are all in my thoughts and prayers. Your Parents were always so very nice to me! I have thought of you often especially, driving down Ardmore Avenue.
Love to you all
