Ruth Marie Morrison

Ruth Marie Morrison (nee Mannherz), of Maple Glen, PA died Tuesday, evening, November 19th, at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was 62 years old. She was preceded in death by her husband, Randall. She was the beloved mother of her two children, Justin and Amy, and son-in-law Adam. She is survived by her parents Elmer and Gertrude Mannherz of Southampton, PA; sister Elaine Irwin, of Annapolis, MD; brothers Robert Mannherz of Wrightstown, PA, Richard Mannherz of Boxboro, MA, and David Mannherz of Sudbury, MA. She is also survived by 6 nieces and 10 nephews. Mrs. Morrison was a member and the business administrator of Supplee Memorial Presbyterian Church, Maple Glen, where she had been employed for 15 years. A 1972 graduate of Kutztown University, she earned a master's degree in education from Beaver College (now Arcadia University) in 1975. Mrs. Morrison taught at Woodlawn Elementary School from 1973-1977 before attending Bucks County Community College, focusing on Computer Science. Mrs. Morrison then worked at Fischer & Porter, Co, where she worked for 10 years and also where she met her late husband, Randall W. Morrison. Services were held on Saturday November 23, 2013.
