Christine K. Nyce, 80, of Telford, passed away Thursday, July 4, 2013 at the Lutheran Community at Telford. She was the devoted wife of Ray Nyce for 28 years. Born September 23, 1932 in Sellersville, she was the daughter of the late Henry C. and Ada (Kratz) Kuhn. Chris studied music and education at Beaver College and the University of New Mexico,earning both her Bachelor's and Master's degrees. Chris was a talented pianist and organist, and played for several choirs and congregations over the course of her life. She was a teacher of gifted and talented elementary school students for 30 years, and she was a docent for the Maxwell Museum of Anthropology in Albuquerque, NM, following her retirement. She was an avid flower gardener and was fascinated by architecture. She and Ray loved traveling to all parts of the world and spent many hours cooking exotic foods together. She was family-oriented and in recent years, spent hours watching photos of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren on her digital photo frame. Chris was predeceased by her parents, a sister, Mary Elizabeth, and her beloved aunt and uncle, Grace K. and Lloyd D. Scholl. She leaves behind five children: Mary Osgood and her husband, Robert (Rochester, NY), Andrew Willson (Seattle, WA), John Nyce and his wife, Rose (Levittown), Mark Willson and his wife, Margot Richardson (Paonia, CO), Sue Anne Rush and her husband, Mark (Dublin); 11 grandchildren; and 10 great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
