Constance M. Kinslow Obituary
Constance M. Kinslow Constance M. Kinslow, died on Monday, April 8, 2013 at Abington Memorial Hospital. She was 77. Miss Kinslow was born in Philadelphia, and was formerly of Elkins Park, and Willow Grove. She has been a resident of Ambler since 2007. In 1954 Connie became the seventh Kinslow sister to graduate from Little Flower Catholic High School for Girls. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Holy Family College and taught at Our Lady Help Of Christians School, Abington, for 41 years. Miss Kinslow was the 2nd lay teacher hired by Monsignor Shallow. She began her career as a 4th grade teacher, then went on to teach 2nd grade. She later initiated the kindergarten program. She retired from teaching to care for her sister, Teresa, who was her constant companion. Beloved sister of Alicia (Robert G.) Tully, Mary (the late Joseph) Olimpo, and Andrew Lawrence Kinslow (the late Darlene), she was the aunt to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Miss Kinslow was predeceased by her parents Andrew Lawrence and Elizabeth Behl Kinslow, and her sisters and brother: Joan A. Mariner; Elizabeth C. Gorecki; Teresa C. Kinslow, Sr. M. Francis Regis, IHM; and Michael Joseph Kinslow. Her Funeral Mass was celebrated on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Saint Joseph Church, Ambler. Rite of Committal followed in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Memorial contributions in her name to the American Kidney Fund, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852 would be appreciated by the family.
