Obituary Condolences

Maria Wosiak Maria Wosiak, age 87 of Park House Providence Pointe and formerly of Conshohocken and Oreland, a homemaker, died peacefully on Saturday, December 3, 2011 with her family at her side. Maria was born July 5th, 1924 in Poland to Anna (Gawlicka) and Konstantine Sobczynski. She survived the concentration camps in Siberia during WWII and then became a civilian employee of the United States Army. She married Jan Wosiak in England and they immigrated to the U.S. settling in Conshohocken. Jan preceded Maria in death in 1963. She went on to raise their four children and later moved to Oreland. Surviving are children, Anna (James) Williams of Oreland, Stanislaw (Linda) of Pittsburg, Edward (Colleen) of Harleysville, and Janina (Brian) Gift of Harleysville; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters, Rosalia Sierkowski of Dorcester, MA, Zofia Prosczowski of Conshohocken and Aniela Siwek of Leicester, England. Predeceased by brothers, Felix and Wladislaw of Poland. Relatives and friends may pay respects on Saturday morning, December 10th from 9-10:20am at St. Mary RC Church, Oak & Elm St., Conshohocken. A funeral mass will commence in the church at 10:30am. Interment, St. Benedict Cemetery in Conshohocken. In lieu of flowers memorial donations in Maria's memory may be made to: Parkhouse Providence Pointe, 1600 Black Rock Rd., Royersford, PA 19468. Professional arrangements entrusted to the William A.
