Dr. Marvin Kohn of Gettysburg Dr. Marvin T. Kohn, 80, 28 Chambersburg Street, Gettysburg, PA died Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Transitions in Gettysburg. He was born September 8, 1934 and raised by Grace and Walter Hast in the Philadelphia area. Marvin is survived by his wife Theresa Corbyn Kohn. Dr. Kohn graduated from Central High School Class 198 in 1952 in Philadelphia and later graduated from Temple University School of Podiatry. For over 40 years, he practiced Podiatry in Hollywood, Jenkintown and Philadelphia retiring in 1997. Following his retirement, he moved to Gettysburg and opened Prescription Antiques on Chambersburg Street which he has operated for the last 18 years. In addition to his wife, Dr. Kohn is survived by a son, Andrew Kohn and his partner Donald Jones of Granville, OH, two daughters; Alycia Kohn-Reed and her husband William of Rockledge, PA, Bethan D’Angelo and her husband Bernard of Cinaminson, NJ, two grandchildren; Harper Jones and Matthew Reed. Services will be private with burial in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials can be made to the Adams County SPCA. Online obituary and condolences available at monahanfuneralhome.com.
