Rose Schwartz age 73, of Ambler, died Saturday in the Abington Hospice at Warminster. Born in Ambler, PA, she was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Marianna (nee Pugliese) LaRuffa. Rose was a graduate of Ambler High School class of 1956. She was a Homemaker and Caregiver for her family. Mrs. Schwartz was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church in Ambler where she was a member of the Choir and Filitalia She is the beloved wife of Stanley E. Schwartz and the late Victor F. Hartman who died in 1964 Rose is the devoted mother of Rose (Walter) Bannon of Perkasie, Victoria (Robert) Klink of Abington, Susan (Christopher) LaCava of Perkiomenville, Diane (Joseph) Davis of Jenkintown, and Stanley E. Schwartz, III of Havertown. She is the Loving Grandmother of Jessica, Sean, Angus, Jennifer, Erin, Christopher and Bryan and is the Sister of John LaRuffa of Lower Gwynedd, Dominic LaRuffa of Chesterfield, MO and Vincent LaRuffa of Gwynedd Valley. She was Pre Deceased by her Sisters Catherine McChesney & Mary LaRuffa Relatives and Friends called Tuesday March 6, 2012 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Anton B. Urban Funeral Home, 1111 S. Bethlehem Pike, Ambler. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM in St. Anthony of Padua Church, Ambler with the Rev. John Lyons as Celebrant.
