Clarence L. Reinford of Harleysville, born March 6, 1925 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 20, 2012. He was born in Schwenksville to the late Norman S. and Mary (Landes) Reinford and was the husband of Marie Detweiler Reinford, married January 1, 1949. Clarence was a member of Providence Mennonite Church, Collegeville, for the past number of years. In earlier years he was active at Upper Skippack Mennonite Church where he served as a deacon, superintendent and chorister. For over 40 years he was an active farmer in the Schwenksville area. He continued to assist two of his sons who were farmers, into his retirement. In addition to his wife, Marie, he is survived by 9 children, Ken of Ephrata, Stanley (wife Esther) of Mt Holly Springs, Donna Clemmer (husband Glenn) of Harleysville, Jerry (wife Mary) of Schwenksville, Steve (wife Gina) of Mifflintown, Lee (wife Gail) of Souderton, Phil (wife Monica) of Telford, Joyce Hunsburger (husband Len) of Perkionmenville, and Twila Detweiler (husband Greg) of Spearfish, SD. He is survived by 34 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren. Clarence is also survived by 4 siblings, Twin sister Florence Metz (husband late Abram) of Souderton, Mary Ellen Hoover (husband Dan) of Schwenksville, Ernie (wife Mary) of Souderton, Floyd (wife Mary Jane) of Souderton. Clarence was preceded in death by 4 siblings; Lester, Nelson, Martha, Norman and a daughter-in-law Rachel. A viewing will be held on Sunday, October 28 from 2 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Franconia Mennonite Church, 613 Harleysville Pike, Telford, PA. The Memorial Service will follow at 6:30 p.m. Interment will take place Monday, 10:30 a.m. at the Wellspring Church of Skippack Cemetery (formerly Upper Skippack Mennonite), Skippack, PA.
