Obituary Condolences

Marion Hodgson Lotwick, 97 of Charleston, SC, formerly a resident of North Hills died peacefully on November 1, 2012. Marion worked for many years as a supervisor at Bell Telephone Company. She was a gifted portrait artist who was still drawing well into her nineties. She loved the written word and had light verse and short stories published in various publications over the course of many decades. She was a kind soul who loved her family and was a wonderful friend to many. She was an advocate for disadvantaged children and animals. Her smile and gentle disposition will be remembered by all who met her. Marion was the beloved wife of the late Edward, devoted mother of Joseph of Baton Rouge, LA, Ellin Reitmeier (Skip) of Mount Pleasant, SC and step-daughter Lois Keppley of Bonita Springs, FL. She is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 17 at 10 AM at the Church of the Holy Cross, Daniel Island, SC. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Smile Train at www.smiletrain.org or to any charity for the welfare of animals.
