Thomas P. Kelly Jr. Obituary
Thomas P. Kelly, Jr., 66, of Gettysburg, PA died Friday, April 18, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born November 6, 1947 in Philadelphia, PA the son of Elizabeth Neely Kelly and the late Thomas P. Kelly, Sr. of Oreland, PA. Tom is survived by his wife of 38 years Pamela May Kelly. Tom attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Emmitsburg, MD. He was a 1970 graduate of Penn State University. For a time he was employed by the FBI. Tom was a veteran of the U.S. Army Airborne Rangers serving in two combat armor units earning the rank of Captain. At present, he owned and operated a Bio-Tech Company. Tom was a motorcycle enthusiast who rode with The American Legion of Fredrick, MD. He was an avid 2nd Amendment advocate and strong backer of the Republican Party. He enjoyed golf, following his children's activities, and spending time with family. In addition to his wife and mother, Tom is survived by four children; Christy McCaffery and her husband Scot of Portsmouth, VA, Jenn Fazio and her husband Tom of New Market, MD, Eddie Kelly and his wife Kelly of Gettysburg, PA, Erin Kelly and her fianc Moses East, Jr. of Waynesboro, PA, 9 grandchildren, and a sister, Carol Kelly, of Oreland, PA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, April 25th at 11:00 AM from St. Joseph Catholic Church, Emmitsburg, MD. Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Gettysburg, PA. There will be a viewing at Monahan Funeral Home, 125 Carlisle Street, Gettysburg, PA on Thursday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
