Peacefully, on Saturday, November 10, 2012, at the age of ninety-eight. Beloved wife of the late Montague (Moe). Devoted mother of Jackie Israel of New York. Dearest sister of Anna Silver, and predeceased by her other siblings, Jean Diamond, Estelle Aspler, Bernard Tritt, Jack Tritt and Joseph Tritt. She will be sadly missed by Joseph Silver and Muriel Dalphond, Ruth Rosenbaum, Frances Kushner, Ron Diamond, John and Judy Diamond, Michael and Cheri Tritt, Philip and Sharon Aslper and the Aspler families, Billy Israel, Allan and Linda Israel, and by her many great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff of 4N at Maimonides Geriatric Centre. Funeral service took place from Paperman & Sons on Tuesday, November 13. Shiva at Shaar Hashomayim Synagogue, Metcalf entrance, Raby Kiddush room on Wednesday, from 2 to 5 p.m. Contributions in Goldie's memory may be made to Donald Berman Maimonides Foundation, (514) 483-2121 ext.: 2207.
