Marianne, I can't tell you how much I will miss Leo - this year's Cdn Ski Marathon wasn't the same without him - but he made sure the snow arrived before, and sun shone during the marathon. I have been privileged to know this wonderful, wonderful man for many years. My sympathies to you and your family.

I will always remember Leo, either chasing him on a bike or on a pair of skis when I was a kid, or watching this extremely happy individual with a cigar in hand and a smile on his face. Whenever I think about someone who enjoyed life I think of Leo. Thanks for the fond memories and motivation.

Dear, dear, Marianne, Vicki, Kirk and Families
What a blow that we should lose such a great friend, good companion and incredible athlete in such a fast, unexpected way. My family, friends and I are all reeling over his leaving us.
When you, Marianne, and he walked into a room, or hit the trails, you both brightened up the place. We will all continue to be inspired by his warmth, and humour, as I hope you all will. He left everyone a special legacy - in his children, grandchildren and wonderful memories of a very special gentleman.
Our hearts break for you all, have courage.

So sorry to hear about your dad's passing. I vividly remember the day you moved in, and many years following. Climbing in through kitchen windows was my thing. Your dad was the guy who came after and patted my head.
He was also the guy who taught me it wasn't right.
My thoughts are with you, Love Jen
