Joan was always a lover of music, especially classical and jazz, and she was a frequent visitor to Biddle's Jazz Club in the 80's and 90's when the Club was at the heart of jazz culture in Montreal. In her later years Joan suffered from COPD and lived quietly in the Place Kensington Residence in Westmount until her death on May 3rd. She is lovingly remembered by her seven Clark cousins and her faithful friend and caregiver during her last years, Ida Godefroy.
