SNELGROVE, John Harold (Hal)
April 10, 1913 – December 15, 2012
It is with extreme sadness that we tell you of the passing of our Dad, Gramps, Great- Grampa and friend. Dad was an amazing man, exemplary in every way. He was a devoted husband, who deeply loved and respected our Mum for 69 years of marriage. He was a wonderful father, showing us the importance and value of being honest and fair and considerate. He was an excellent friend, truly loyal and devoted. He was smart and funny, hardworking and resourceful, patient and encouraging. He rarely, if ever, complained, and he always showed his appreciation. Loved by so many, he will be truly missed. Predeceased by his beautiful wife, Ada, and his son Teddy, Hal leaves behind his son Bill and daughter-in-law Jennifer, his daughters Susan and Carol-Anne, his son John, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him great joy and made him extremely proud. Immeasurable thanks goes out to his devoted family of incredible caregivers….Sue Brazeau, Marianne Woods, Katie Van Every, Erin Moraghan, Donna Timms, Betty Papas and the team at NOVA……whose loving natures and tender care brought beauty and joy back into Dad's life after we lost Mum two years ago. A private service will be held immediately for the family, with a celebration of Mum and Dad's lives to be held in the springtime. Donations to NOVA HUDSON would be greatly appreciated.
