TSATAS, John (Ioannis)
84 from Evagelismos, Messinias, Greece passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on December 11th. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Athanasia Karamitsos, his children Stavroula Tsatas- Galanis, Peter & Donna Tsatas, and Nick & Nancy Tsatas. The grandchildren John & Maria, Elias, Matthew, Jason, Sofie, Terry, and Micheal, and the great grand child Georgios. He leaves behind his brother Charalambos Tsatas, and his sisters Ismini Chronopoulos, and Konstantina Kraniou – along with many nieces and nephews, family and friends here, in Greece, the USA, and Australia. On behalf of his children, a warm gratitude goes out to the Palliative Care professionals at the Mt. Sinai Hospital in Cote St Luc and a very special recognition and thank you to Dr. Romano. Visitations will be held at La Maison Darche, 7679 Boul. Tachereau, Brossard on December 17th from 7pm – 10pm, and December 18th from 2pm – 5pm and 7pm – 10pm. The Funeral will be held at Saint John the Baptist Greek Orthodox Church, 5220 Grande Allee, St. Hubert on December 19th at 12pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Mt Sinai Hospital Palliative Care Unit or the Hellenic Community of Montreal South Shore Greek schools Socrates – Omiros.
