BANDEL, Kim B. Novak

Born in Orsha, Byelerussia, on February 22, 1929, she passed away on October 24, 2012 at Centre Hospitalier de Verdun, Quebec. She leaves in mourning her children, Helen (Gilles Lamirande), Liza, and Danielle (Alain Gougeon) and her grandchildren François, Julien, Catherine, Valérie, Isabelle and Jordan, her sister, Nina, her niece Irina (Lena, Ariel) and many friends. She will be greatly missed and remembered by all those who's lives she has touched, as triumphant and victorious in adversity, as a survivor of the Second World War, as a loving, inspirational, passionate and spiritual person who cherished her family and her friends, as a seeker of knowledge and understanding with an eclectic taste in questions of human interest, as a person of courage, determination and compassion. The family will greet you on November 17, 2012 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Verdun LaSalle Baptist Church, 4750 Wellington Street, Verdun.
